The November Niners
Nine lucky players had the honor of being counted as the 2010 November niners, some of them amateurs, some of them pros. On ninth place is Jason Senti, barely hanging on with 8,475,000 chips. Following him at eight place is Mathew Jarvis who holds 9,625,000, the second shortest stack in the game. However, he’s not too far from Soi Nguyen who holds 9,800,000. From there, there’s a significant gap between Nguyen’s stack and Michael Mizrachi’s stack, which is tantamount to 16,800,000. Filippo Candio has 19,850,000 at 5th place. John Racener has 21,100,000. Joseph Cheong, at 3rd place, has 23,700,000.
At this point, there’s another significant gap, this time between second and third place. Second placer John Dolan has 45,300,000. At the very top sits Jonathan Duhamel who holds a pretty sizable 55,375,000.
Sponsorship Deals
It will also be interesting to see which players are scooped up by the biggest online poker sites, such as Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker. In the past these sites have been extremely competitive in picking up players in sponsorship deals for the highly publicized WSOP final table. Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker are seen as the big two poker sites, offering all the latest online poker software features, as well as being fully compatible for mac poker and other impressive gizmos.
